How Fast do you ride your bike?

Post by RedlightG20 » Mon Sep 08, 2008 7:56 am

Hi guys, I'm a new Scrambler owner. I was just wondering, how fast do you normally drive your bike? The fastest I've ridden mine was about 60mph. I'm just curious to see how comfortable other riders are at higher speeds on these old bikes.

If you have a CL77 with the 15x37 sprockets you can safely ride at speeds over 70. Do keep in mind that is if the engine is tuned correctly and both cylinders are doing an equal job. ..........lm

CL77 Speed

I've run mine at an easy 70mph on the Interstate with my fat butt on it and engine running strong. Never seemed to hurt it. As LM said, keep, keep it tuned up, oil changed and adjustments made.
