New member with '66 CL77Thanks Tim! Yes, I have one but currently waiting for it to be painted together with the other parts that are missing on the picture (already couple of weeks "delay" unfortunately). Should have them back next week. Got this in from ClaussStudios.
At one side the gap is larger... Is this side supposed to be at the end of the kickstart lever as shown in my first picture? Text is facing inwards then when the kickstart is mounted, don't know if this is meant to be by Honda or a fault in the mold. Very silly question but I love to get these details right. :)
When new the knob fit into the recess. ......................lm
Fired her up today for the first time since carb rebuild, new coils, spark plugs etc.
I used the CB77 kit from Keyster. Carbs are leaking fuel at the inlet. I used these washers instead of the metal examples from the Keyster kit: http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CL77 ... rt_230828/ Should I prefer the ones supplied by Keyster? Also leaking fuel from the drain plug. Used Keyster K-1350. I had to set the idle screws 6 full turns out in order to get it running smoothly. Isn't this alot? I drop the throttle needles 1 click? Or re-use my old needles? Please note that this is all a bit new for me so don't mind the silly questions. Totally forgot how LOUD this thing is, lol. No more leaks from the carbs today.
Mounted the old needles and main jets, left the new idle Keyster's in there. Clutch seems to work fine, fitted new cable etc. and painted both crankcases with Dupli DE1650. Still waiting now for some small parts to arrive in order to finish everything else.
