This is the early CL72 pan that's setup for buckle seat strap. Also those are the fragile early spikes.
Brent Davison is the owner for Scultgarage has best and only complete foam and cover kits available anywhere. He has them listed on eBay. I know this because I helped him with building all the many prototypes, he also has my bikes in his add. If you need a later version pan I can help. PM me.

Got this one laying around waiting for a fresh powercoat.
Still has the original spikes if I'm correct.

Now I only need a new foam, cover and the trim.

Hello Glen.
There is a difference between the early and late CL72/77 seats.
I recommend you remove yours and compare the front of this this pan to the one on the bike.
I doubt they are the same. ...............lm

I was planning getting a seat kit from him to restore it but offcourse I need the correct seatpan.
Will send you a PM.

I was drooling on the bikes from the add... They look fantastic.

Thanks Ed.
The seat mounted on my bike is a replica seat. Doesn't look too bad but the fit is not perfect.
At the front it pushes against the gastank and the double C-clip doens't fully get around the mounting point on the frame.

You could actually use this pan if you weld a couple 6mm studs over the 10mm holes to anchor the later strap.

Thanks for the compliment!

I've been wanting to mount the "300" badges from Ray Byrne for a while since I just don't like the metal replacement badges from Honda.
However... it always seemed I received the wrong screws from different sellers... Thought I got ISO again and again because they didn't fit.

Left: my old screws that fit
Right: JIS screws from Ray Byrne

There seems to be a very small difference in pitch?
