Dear suburbanstuff,

This bike is far from original. This frame is a 1966 frame as are the buddy pegs.
The front fender is After Market not HONDA. Wrong speedo housing, wrong headlight housing, wrong horn, wrong rear sprocket, wrong mirrors, kick lever is far from correct location, both tires are wrong size, Blue paint isn't the original paint as the year this bike was issued that color wasn't used yet. (check fuel valve) Tail light is for a 1967 not this frame. Wrong cover on tool box. This one is from a CB160. Rider pegs are from bikes made after 1033482.
Turn signals are After Market as this bike wasn't issued with them. Tank badges are HONDA but made after the CL77 series was over.

I'm not sure what a 101 series vin would be year wise but a long way from 68 for sure. my 2cents,,,,,,,,,,,,Rw

Brake pedal is early, grips are A M , wrong rear heat shield. Basically a collection of parts assembled with no regard for proper year / model.

Why do you say the brake pedal is early? To the untrained eye (mine) it appears the same as my '67 which is most definately original.

The part that your foot pushes down is flat. On the later bikes it has an apron around the bottom of it. I can post a pic of the difference later today.
