Will be installing my freshly painted left side engine cover soon.
I have a new gasket, will this do or do you guys use Hondabond or liquid gasket on top of a regular gasket?

If only to use the normal gasket, do I mount it dry or soak it in oil first?

Thanks Ed.

Any info on the proper routing for the clutch cable?
Currently goes under the right tank rubber, inbetween the coil bracket (same route as my throttle cable).

There are many ways to route it.
Sort of depends who ya are!
Between triple clamp and headlight bucket/around right side of steering head/either over or under the right side tank mount depending on the cable length/arch over and to the right of the carb. .................lm

Sorry to jump your thread Glenn but as long as you have LM engaged I thought I would ask about mounting a late '67 CL77 seat. Do you just put the rubber grommets in the rear seat mounting bars and then bolt that to the frame/grab bar hole?

Yes.
Rear mount holes are large for the rubber grommets and special bolts install through them and the frame hole. ..................lm

What kind of "special bolts"? Like the ones in the attachment?
