This bike has the round bowl carbs, like the ones pictured. I will check closer for #s. It appears to have been set up for dirt use ,so may be some things changed. I see the difference in the intake tubes...flat vs. round clamps. thanks for the help.

I am hoping to get a pic of the engine number the frame number.I had replied to your show of pictured with pics from the back of that same book.

I have the same L/S carb (flat right and left angles at the front not smooth round like the other carbs of that era.
Mine is stamped CL72.
Also take a look in your shop manual at pages 118' 119, and 120.
Also page 38 for a good laugh.
May we see a pic of the frame number?
Any chance you have a CL250???
Did you notice the black tube at the top rear which was installed on the CB72 power jet carbs?. .................lm

I previously stated the carbs I pictured were on a CL type1 head I had purchased. Never had the bike so I cannot provide pictures of frame number.

I posted the shop manual picture to show the hose coming off the powerjet, so yes I noticed.

The only CL250 I know of is the later '68 and up type and I think they have the diaphram type carbs.

Thanks for the reply Dick.
The CL250 bikes I've seen up close were pretty much the CL72 we received and with normal for the period slide carbs, non folding foot pegs and I can't recall if they had turn signals.
Not sure but I think they did. ............................lm
