Post by junk726 » Sun Nov 17, 2013 5:07 pm

Anyone seen these Featherweights? I bout died when he handed me the battery for my 1965 CL77...it is RIDICULOUS light..all Lithium battery..comes fully charged and has a button on top u push to see how charged it is..said you can charge with any battery tender that has auto shutoff (so u dont cook/kill it)..i will see how well it works and holds charge.but fits PERFECTLY in my tray...WPS makes em..(Western Power Sports...available at any local moto shop..set me back bout $90..but hey...so does everything on this bike!) part #490-2502

Am I wrong here? Looks like the battery is in backwards! I think the ground is toward the front of the bike and the positive goes toward the back of the bike. That is if the the wires are installed correctly. I may be wrong!

I would hesitate to use one of this type in an unregulated charging situation.

Maybe someone more familier with this technology will chime in.

Google lithium battery fires.
