Domestic CL72
I have a '63 domestic. Serial # on early domestics include the year stamped into the frame, mine reads CL72-63-341xxx. The differences are non folding steel foot pegs, rocker type shifter (fwd end is the same steel design), Type 2 360 degree engine, turnsignals with the switch on the throttle side of the handle bar, KPH speedo (no hi-beam indicator), twin lead single coil like the dream and a replaceable bulb headlight. It has aluminum fenders, steel forks and small brakes. I have a friend with a '65, it's basicly the same but has a Type 1 180 degree engine. Not sure what his serial # reads. Another friend has a '67 CL77 serial # starts with CL300-xxxxxxx.
