CL77 Center Stand Rubber Bumper Replacement

Post by mrken305 » Mon Oct 24, 2011 10:00 am

I was looking for something I could use as a rubber bumper stop on my CL77 center stand. I found a $3 grommet at Ace Harware that seems to fit very nicely for anyone needing to replace theirs. See pictures.

Those little cardboard box bins of assorted stuff in hardware stores are a great source for things like this. Two of the bumpers under my side covers are from there. Not perfect, but they work.

One of those bins has black plastic knobs that I think could be made to work as side cover knobs if you cannot find an original. Not perfect and no Honda logo, but the average person would never know.

regards,
Rob
