Shifter rubber for CL77

Post by knucklexyz » Mon Feb 16, 2009 7:39 am

Way back when, when I bought a new CL77, it had a rubber cover on the shifter - similar to the one that can be seen on the CL here:

Does any know where one of those can be found? Thanks in advance for any help.

That bike has an incorrect shift lever. It looks like it's from a SL Honda. A piece of rubber hose can be cut and slid over the stock lever end, I've bought a coule of bikes where the PO had done it.

Thanks for the info. Can't really tell if it's the correct shifter or not from the photos. But I do know that my '67 had a rubber cover on the shifter and I haven't been able to locate a source for one.
