Any Photos of Blue Superhawks?

Post by STSCowboy » Sat Feb 11, 2012 1:23 am

Looking for photos of Blue Superhawks. My bike is Black but want to see a Blue one to see if I want to go that way when I redo the bike.

Here are three from my "inspiration bike" folder, plus one of mine when first completed a couple of years ago. Blue is prettiest color, imho, followed by red. Black looks kinda generic, white looks like some kinda appliance. --Lee

Nice pictures. I don't suppose anyone has any of the blue tinted pictures from original Honda adverts from back in the day?

I remember skipping school and reading bike mags in the local library and I was completely in love with the bike in those pictures. There was a close up of an engine with a subtle blue tint reflected from the paintwork that had never seen before and it was quite something.

That was a long time ago, but they say you never forget your first love... And St V's day is only 3 days away by some coincidence.

Those look very nice! I think the blue looks awesome but I think I may use more of a Candy Blue on my bike. My powdercoat guy has a blue that I think would look spectacular with the silver.

I dont know how particular everyone on here is to 100% restorations but paint color can always be changed back so I may give it a shot!

My CL77 and CB77 will both be painted this color which is a shade used for MGs in the UK. "Rover Trophy Blue"

G-Man,

I have a friend that I race MX with in AZ with the same nickname!

That is about the color I am going to go with on mine!
