Kickstart Bushing at Right Side CoverKickstart Bushing at Right Side CoverI am going to have a new bronze bushing made to repair my right side cover at the kickstart shaft. It looks like this repair has been posted on this forum already but I'll document my progress as well.

He did a really nice job. It looks like the part came straight from Honda. It fits nice and tight in the side case and has very little play at the kick shaft. I hope to get it installed over the holiday weekend. He is willing to use up the bronze stock I gave him and make 3 or 4 more if anyone is interested. I'm not sure how much he will charge me to make the additional bushings yet.

New bushing was installed. It fit nice and tight in the right cover and the kick shaft fits great. I set it in red lock tight and fixed the broken case with JB weld. I am going to have a few more bushings made to this spec. PM me if your are interested in one and I'll let you know how much.
