New owner of a 64 and a 69 looking for some helpNew owner of a 64 and a 69 looking for some helpI am in the process of fixing these up, can someone tell me the difference between the '69 and the '64. They seem very similar but all of the NOS parts I find seem to be spec'd up to a '68 model. Is the '69 not a superhawk? If not, what is it? the VIN says it is a cb77. Thanks for your help -Stout
Your '69' CB77 is probably a 68 model. Honda dealers sold the leftover (previous year bikes) as current year bikes. Find the ser.# on the crankcase and stem and ask somone here to look it up or read some previous questions on this subject(prefered method) to get an answer. Looks like a great project! And being from Two Rivers I know how long those winters are! Kustommusic
Re: New owner of a 64 and a 69 looking for some helpSure would be nice to know the frame number. HONDA ended production of these bikes in (((((((((1967))))))))))))) and due to the style of the tail light I'd say it's a 1966. .................lm
