hi tom,it took a long time coming home, but its here now,the other bidder was bill silver, but the same as you really, didnt want the transporting..
the lever i got from ebay, is correct, well the same as the other, but the handle bar mount for it is bigger, checked it against other honda cb72 its the same as that. so i now need the mount for the lever. part no 53172 205 010. do you know any one with one for sale. cheers alan

I checked the places I know for NOS parts and only Nick at Ohio Cycle has one,
CB92 53172-205-010 HAND LEVER BRACKET L/H 75.00

Unfortunately he only ships within the US. Maybe if someone on the forum is getting ready to send an order to him they could add it to their order if you wanted.

cheers tom, i think i have a friend in the uk that has one, hes going to bring it to stafford show for me, took out the battery yesterday, it was in the plastic cover still, when i got that off it still had the battery rubber tray , and is still in very good condition. alan

took the right side cover off, to take the clutch cable off, you can see how the old alloy starts to craze, does any one know of a way of making that area stronger.

battery tray, was in really good condition, i have a remade one also, and there is a difference in the size.
