Yup, that's the correct part# for the l/h filter elephant. R/h is appended -030 instead of -020.

Isn't that a bit on the expensive side, though? Don't Retro Bikes sell them?

The pic sure looks like a Right Side.
The difference in part number is more like 17211-xxx-xxx (right side) and 17311-xxx-xxx. (left side)
And Steve is correct that Retrobike in Seattle, Washington has them and a bit less expensive. ............lm

You might want to get both at the same time in case there are any differences between your existing one and the new one.

I was thinking about that G I have to get a batt. as well so I will get it all at the same time

Retro Bikes are, apparently, an absolute delight to deal with. Go to their site and follow the link in the left pane Filters, Air/Oil; they have them in stock (both sides) at $25 each.

I recently bought a maintenance-free AGM battery from Motobatteries -- well-impressed so far! And I seem not to be alone.

Cool I just bought the battery. Does anyone know where I can buy the exhaust flanges and collar joints I am sure these are the correct ones that will work
