Newbie- Questions about CB77 and CP77
Newbie- Questions about CB77 and CP77Ok I will start from the beginning. My uncle passed away a few months ago and he was into motorcycles. I know he had an old Harley which I found out to be a 67' Electra Glide.
Anyways, when I was helping my aunt move stuff out of the house to sell, I noticed some bikes in the corner of the garage. She asked if I knew anyone who would want to buy them. I did a little research and decided I would buy them from her. There are three bikes total and most of the parts are there for all three bikes. I don't have a seat for any of them and there are some other parts missing but I think there is enough to put 2 full bikes back together. I have titles for 2 of them and the engine and frame numbers are: Bike #1- CB77E-316374 CB77-316491 (I have the title for this one and it should be a 63') Bike #2- CB77E-101137 CB77-101128 (I have the title for this one and it should be a 64') Bike #3- CP77E-1005605 CP77-1005599 (I don't have a title for this one) I don't have any pictures right now but am still not sure what I should do with these bikes. I know that the 63' used to be riden by my aunt until my uncle broke it down to paint it. So I know that one ran at one point in time. I don't know where to start with these bikes. I am not sure what year the CP77 is either. It looks like it has the factor blinkers on it. I have never worked on these old bikes and I'm wondering if I should just sell them to someone else who has more knowledge and time to invest in these cool old bikes. So my question is can anybody help me out with the year of the CP77 and if it's possible to get a title for it from the MVD? I have a lot of other questions about the bikes but I think I need to post some pictures before asking. I will try and get some pictures tomorrow or the next day. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks. Mesa, Arizona Arizona is one of the easier states to get replacement titles. You can do it yourself at the DMV or hire a title service to do it for you. I've done it both ways several times and prefer the latter. If you take the DIY route, be prepared to wait and make more than one trip. The title service folks I deal with all worked at the DMV at one time, know the rules and the people behind the counter. They print the titles in their office and have the plates also if you need them.
Re: Newbie- Questions about CB77 and CP77The CP77 is a 1965. ..............lm
