Superhawk vs Hawk

Post by CBX-tras » Sun Apr 20, 2008 7:10 am

I've been away from 305s for a few years and as you might have seen on another post, I recently purchased a red '67 Superhawk for my small collection.

I've noticed in several acticles here on this site that the CB72 refered to as a Superhawk. I seem to recall that the CB72 was called the "Hawk" while the CB77 was the "Superhawk" being introduced later and larger displacement.

Is my memory fuzzy or might it have been a regional thing here in Michigan?

Thanks,
J.R.

If you are like me, your memory probably is fuzzy. However, according to my vintage Honda sales brochure the 250 was a Hawk and the 305 was a Super Hawk.
