Thank you! I may do this as the upshift 1st to 2nd has gotten worse, do you have any information about which parts I may require?

All splines has lose gears. None of the gears has any friction fit to the splines. Since the gears are move somewhat freely there will be wear on the splines over time.
For example the primary gear on the crank shaft is held in place by a spring washer to keep it moving to the sides. The clutch basket is free moving. The chain keeps the clutch basket lined up. Brilliant design if you want something to run smooth but less good for long time wear.
