We weren't talking about the same part, so it's not the 17.
My problem is always the same: translating highly technical terms into French, and I sometimes find it hard to fully understand what you're talking about.
Where's this one in the engine that I don't die a fool?
Kick start bushing
Re: Kick start bushingDésolé. This part, the one in the picture in the previous posting, was never sold separately by Honda. It was just part of the large right side cover. However, they are easily made if you have the tools, not so easily if you do not.
Bootleggerjim, could you post a link to the site that is offering it for sale? Re: Kick start bushingthe no 17 in the picture is of some reason referred as kick start bushing but in reality it is placed on the first and second gear in the gearbox.
Re: Kick start bushingCan confirm I just fitted one to my 1964 SuperHawk. Its not a drive fit in the casing though. I used loctite and also drilled and tapped a hole that holds a locating screw, (half in the bush and half in the casing)
