thanks guys, for all the help. i was pulling my hair out on that one! stayed up til two getting the timing set and the idle nice and smooth. once i started i couldn't stop. i knew it was going to be nice today and wanted to take it for a spin around the block (first outting!)

We all make mistakes. The difference is that those of us with enough experience know what mistakes to look for, because we made them before - at least once.

That also means that we often find the problems as we are doing the work, because we remember to check that we didn't do something stupid.

Someone said, lack of experience causes mistakes and mistakes lead to experience which leads to better judgement.
