Hard to find solid core wires

This wire is hard to find.. I'm trying to find it locally but it seems very hard to find this type of wire... Everyone says go to any auto parts store and they should have it.. I've called about 10 auto parts stores and they all seem to not know what I'm looking for.. Can some body help me!!!
I live in Michigan...

Suz, I found some solid core on E-bay. I believe that there is some listed right now,stuff goes cheap, usually. Good Luck, Kustommusic
