Are you sure it is disconnected? Mine was jumping around and all it turned out to be was a loose speedo cable. Probably not your problem but I thought I would mention it.

I sent my CA77 speedo to a place in San Diego, Ca. for repair. It is called Foreign Speedo Inc. phone # 619-298-5278.Cost about $75.00 to take apart and lube and check-out. Parts would be extra if they have them.Took about 5 weeks turn around with shipping back and fourth.Bill Silver recommended them to me. Joe

Dan, You can also try United Speedometer in L.A. My experience is that these places do a terrific job but, it's expensive! I had better luck buying used from E-Bay and saved my money. I admit that's not for everybody and if you'r going for dead on mint then the repair places are the way to go.Good Luck1 Steve Greer
