Post by SMBH » Sat Dec 12, 2015 6:42 pm

Well well I wished I had sprayed my CB77 white then it would have been very rare, hows this -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1964-Honda-CB ... 1631424408

Now im not saying this is one big con after all it's better than new, but wait something has just flew over my house im going to have a look my it's a pink pig.

OK guy what's wrong with it ill start the ball rolling the side covers were never polished.

A good example of a much to glamorous description.
"Full nut and bolt restoration to exacting standards to correct specification completed by the owner who is a very well known motorcycle collector and restorer"
Far to many parts painted the wrong color and I see a rebuild but not restoration as to many faults from stock issue. ..........lm

That dealer is well known for (overpriced?) concours-type bikes. Check out the rolling banner at the bottom of the ad for the general idea. The guy who does my MoT's bought a v. expensive large Kawasaki from there a little while ago and although he was initially very pleased with it, when I next saw him a few weeks later he'd got rid of it and, in response to my query, all he would say is 'We don't talk about that.' Mmm.

Anyone who is ignorant of those bikes would sure be taken in by that glamorous description.
Personally I don't care for the WHITE CB72/77 but when parts are painted SILVER "I really don't like them".
This is the second one I've seen painted wrong and to me the correct all WHITE looks better. ..................lm

You could buy an awful lot of white paint and metal polish for that money...

Some kind of scam. He has no ebay sales or purchases in the past year.
Steve Correction, he has zero sales on eBay and has purchased one item in the past six months. I still believe scam.
