Going to see if they work. I'll update later what the outcome was. Preliminary says they are going to work. Just need to see how well.

Well, Been trying them on a Honda Shadow VT500c 1984. There's a Baffle in the damned tank! I can't get the left side to lay in the tank properly. Plus getting past that baffle. GRRRR!!! For thouse of you wondering, see the thread about electrolisys on metal parts for a zinc coating at home. Search for sugar or zinc or electroplating. The discussion goes though about how to do the inside of a tank. The Milkstone remover really worked well on eleminating the rust inside the tank however, it flash rusts surfaces inside in a very short time! So it's important to have things ready to go! The sticks you see here are made of zinc roofing strips. They are wrapped in plastic tubing cut up with a spiral effect. The plastic is to keep the sinc from making contact to the tank metal. The spirial is so you can move them around inside the tank because electroplating is line of sight. To get a good coverage you have to move these around to get all the surfaces. Should work like a dream inside a Dream tank. If anyone does a Dream Tank before me, I would appreciate some photos.
