eBay cables

Post by Dana01 » Fri Feb 11, 2011 2:31 pm

FYI. I just called the seller, "motorcyclesolutionsllc.com", and he says these three cables are for the low bars only.

Thanks for the link. That's a savings of $27 over classic honda. I went ahead and bought all three.

Wow cylcon36! I was thinking I was saving someone some grief. I'm real happy you found what you need. Let us know if the quality is there. The guy seemed very nice and sympathetic on the phone.

No problem. I was planning on getting the low bar and cable package from classic cycle. This saved me $25. I'll post back up when they come in. The packaging read KSI and "made in japan" so I'm hoping they're good quality.

thats where i got my throttle cable and points, really fast shipping and great communication. cable seems good (well better since it was frayed really bad at the bars) as the one that came with my bike.

Got my cables in today. He shipped them out the next day with priority mail so it was only a few days wait. Everything is new in the bag and looks to be of good quality. The clutch cable mentions "early CB72/77" so I'm hoping there aren't any issues with my '67. The auction page did say that it should work for all years. It might be because i'm not use to having low bars on my bike, but the clutch cable looks pretty short to make it from the left side over to the right. I guess we'll see when I actually have time to start working on it.

Can anyone tell me the free play length for the front brake cable? Looks like I need to have customs made for my intermediate height bar set-up... Anybody have motion pro customs?
