recommended reading for newbie?recommended reading for newbie?Hi, I was just wondering if any of you out there knew of a good source that I can use to learn motorcycles and properly understand their maintenance and mechanics? I'm new to engines, a broken cb77 is now my first bike and i've never even seen the engine of my car. wow. thanks.
Re: recommended reading for newbie?well, now that 20 people have read the post and there hasn't been one response, maybe some of you others need more help than i do.

http://www.howstuffworks.com is an excelent site and just the thing for learning about things like engines.
Re: recommended reading for newbie?Danza, Hey, don't take it personally! That is the way this board is (unfortunatly) Some of us try to keep it interesting, not enough though I guess. You do have to admit it was a pretty broad question. Sometimes the simpelest questions are the hardest to answer! All I can say is don't give up on this site it really is a valuable source for us old Honda guys. P.S. if you need any help ASK or if that doesn't work e-mail me(address is in my profile). Good luck, Steve Greer
Re: recommended reading for newbie?I know you're right, I wasn't really taking it personally. I was just looking for a few ideas. Yes it is a great site and a good community. Thanks.
