scrambler tires

Post by 66scrambler305 » Wed Sep 24, 2008 1:57 pm

Which tires would be correct for a 66 honda scrambler?

Are there any that would represent improved handling?

I am looking to upgrade the orginal rubber, if you can believe that.... The bike has 9000 miles on it.

I just got her together and running well and know I figure I better ride it!!!

Thanks Mike

Since I want to turn my CL77 into a rider, and since it won't be used offroad, I'm planning on modern road tires. Even though it won't be authentic, I still like the look of the modern tires.

The ones I'm looking at are the Avon AM26 Roadriders, and it's one of the few that is made in a 19" rear, too.

Can't remember who, but someone on here has them on a CB77 cafe racer -- davo? Memory is fading.

Yes, Davo has the cafe' with Avon road riders! Great tires, reasonably priced, and they work well.
