Local help

Post by kso » Fri Oct 22, 2010 10:07 am

Just moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina / Savannah, Georgia area. I have a 1966 305 Scrambler that I am having trouble getting the carbs to play right. Have done numerous rebuilds and adjustments. Have talked to a forum member in Texas (very knowledgeable) and have gotten closer to correct running but still dies out. Does anyone know of a local Honda person in my area that works on these old bikes? The shops don't really have the people to do the repair. Thanks.

Don't know your area but your post caught my attention. PO of my bike had the problem of being able to adjust it but it would die out. I ran it with the gas cap off and no problem. The cap was plugged. Just a thought.
