"NEW" SPROCKET BOUGHT FROM ONLINE TRADER

Post by Daddykool305 » Sun May 15, 2011 4:28 pm

This may be a warning to people who are as trusting as me.
I rely on getting parts for my CB77 from Ebay mostly.
Most deals and parts have been fine, apart from the occasional carb rebuild set that doesn't fit.
Recently I bought a rear sprocket which looked good in the auction picture.
When it arrived after sixteen days it was quite different.
I will let the pictures tell the story.

Forgot to mention, it was "Your trash, my treasure" who sold this junk to me. An appropriately named trader, it seems.

Good thinking, LM.

They use the trading name of " a113ycat ".

Considering how far away I am, you would think they would check what they were sending me.
Very disappointing, as I was waiting for the last part in the drive chain. I have chain and front sprocket already.
And my car broke down a few days ago, now I have no transport.
Blown head gasket in my Audi 90, terrible thing to work on, but that's another story.

Definitely not a good seller. check out this item;

It certainly not what is says it is. I have no idea what it originally came from, but I know it's not a dream. I emailed him to tell him 4 days ago. Never heard back and he never changed the description.

I concur with lm on this one.
