"NEW" SPROCKET BOUGHT FROM ONLINE TRADER
"NEW" SPROCKET BOUGHT FROM ONLINE TRADERThis may be a warning to people who are as trusting as me.
I rely on getting parts for my CB77 from Ebay mostly. Most deals and parts have been fine, apart from the occasional carb rebuild set that doesn't fit. Recently I bought a rear sprocket which looked good in the auction picture. When it arrived after sixteen days it was quite different. I will let the pictures tell the story.
Good thinking, LM.
They use the trading name of " a113ycat ". Considering how far away I am, you would think they would check what they were sending me. Very disappointing, as I was waiting for the last part in the drive chain. I have chain and front sprocket already. And my car broke down a few days ago, now I have no transport. Blown head gasket in my Audi 90, terrible thing to work on, but that's another story. Definitely not a good seller. check out this item; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-CA ... 0418314588 It certainly not what is says it is. I have no idea what it originally came from, but I know it's not a dream. I emailed him to tell him 4 days ago. Never heard back and he never changed the description. I concur with lm on this one. 63 CA78
