I picked up a 34 tooth rear sprocket for my CL77 on fleabay that was listed for the CB72, CB77, CL72 and CL77. The new sprocket bolt pattern is to narrow for my CL77. The mounting bolt hole center to center on my Scrambler is 3 1/8” (80mm) and the center to center on the new sprocket is 2 3/4” (70mm), the new sprocket is correct for 530 chain. Could I get someone to measure their CB and tell me what the CB bolts measure center to center. Looking at some of the other sprockets listed it appears most tend to list the CB’s and CL’s as the same sprocket, I am beginning to wonder if the sellers know what their sprockets fit.
I have read every sprocket post to date and have not seen actual measurements posted. Thanks G.

I am still wondering how the sprockets that are being sold on eBay with 2 3/4" (70mm) center to center bolt holes are supposed to fit the CL? The one from tasclassicmotorsports is the one I bought and had to return. The others are from ibuy.isell and they have sold several.davomoto wrote:G, they are the same for CB and CL, 80mm. I even checked a small hub CL, and it is 80mm as well. Sounds like you got the wrong part, and will need to return it.

RustyRiders is selling CL sprockets with 3 7/8" center to center. The sprocket on my CL and the sprockets davomoto has all measure 3 1/8" (80mm) center to center. am I missing something here, sure hope people aren't mounting these using the big holes?

Thanks LM for helping clear this up, and you are welcome my friend.
So anyone buying a sprocket for the DLS large hub CB/CL 72/77 will use the 2 3/4" center to center sprocket and those of us with the SLS small hub will need the 3 1/8" ctc and will need to check the measurements since most on eBay seem to be for the larger hub. This goes without saying these must be for the 530 chain. G

You are welcome.
The Super Hawks and 305 Scramblers do/did use the 530 chain.
The small brake CL72 Scrambler used the 520 chain. ...............................lm
