305 transmissiom issue

Post by Breezy481 » Fri Mar 15, 2013 10:13 am

I have my 66 305 dream running great. Now I dont have gears to go thru. I saved this dream after it set for 42 years. Any advise? Do I need to drain the oil before I take off the side covers to inspect?

Yes, you need to drain the oil before removing the left side (clutch) cover. Can you be more specific about the problem.

If you move the gearshift pedal up and down does anything happen? Does the bike seem to be in neutral all the time?
