clutch spring adjustments

Post by wolfpack » Sat Sep 10, 2005 11:48 am

Hey folks,
it,s me again. I was wanting to know if anyone knew how to adjust the cluct on my honda dream 305? I just installed new disc,s and I am not sure how far to tighten the 4 bolts with springs, or if there are any other adjustments to be made to the clutch. If any one could help I will be gratefull. As far as the rest of the bike, it is coming along, slow but good.
wolfpack

Wolf,

The bolts you speak of are torqued down tight. I don’t know the settings. All other clutch adjustments are made at the right side case.
That large slot fitting just forward of the kick-starter is for this. Be gentle with it. Find or make a tool that fits it or you could really mess it up. That slot and the cable adjustment fitting where it goes into the case will do the job. Be sure to loosen the bolt that locks the slot piece in place before you try to turn it. I think it’s a 10mm.

Rob
