They dont really fit. they hang too low, they are too long, and they bow out too far from the frame. I am pretty sure I could drag them in a turn, even without really trying. I think they look goofy on the Dream, and for $235, you can do better.
See photo, the left is original, the right is Apexcycles Replacement Muffler.
apexcycle mufflers?
Re: apex mufflerWho was the supplier from Australia and what were the problems? Thanks Clyde
DONT BUY FROM APEXCYCLEHe is a real crook. The mufflers fit the pipe, but hang too low and are shoddy workmanship. They look ridiculous on a Dream. He refused to refund money when we sent them back, because he said he didnt have it!! He is unethical and should not be in business. I'm sorry, I know he's a sponsor of this site and all, but you owe it to your readers to tell the truth.
ApexTerrible Tom needs to clean up his act. I also bought the Emgo mufflers from J.C.Whitney for my Dream. They are pretty well made but the boxes they sent them in were very flimsy. Sent 2 back due to shipping damage. About $120.00 a pr. with shipping. I welded mounting brackets on mine to make them more stable.
