Theres a 305 Dream carb on eBay right now for $99 BIN and throttle cables aren't much. You'll be forever waiting for it to pick up speed at idle. I had a CA95 I used to let tool me around parking lots at idle for kicks at shows -got me to about walking pace at best.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be to quick at idle.

I saw that carburetor in the 50 or so pages I went through looking for odds and ends and I think I might go for it.
