Mine pre-dated th Daytona by a few years. Pre-unit alloy T100 GP manifold with chopped monoblocks. Alternator and capacitor (no battery) and K2F magneto. T120 one piece crank (82mm) with light flywheel. 3134s on both sides with R followers and slipper high comp pistons with ported head and lightened rockers. Fiberglass fuel/oil tank, clip ons, swept backs etc.

Frame, forks and brakes were all pretty useless though.

Man that was a fun bikes when it wasn't leaving a trail of parts behind it. I had a later unit 50 which was dead reliable but nowhere near as fast or as much fun. Those were the days (or Daze). The funny thing was that as a kid I fell in love with the new CB72 but could never afford one. I didn't my first CB until a few years later when they were more affordable.

I've had a CB72/77 in my life now since the early seventies. The rest have come and gone and I still have a pile of CB's in parts or as projects. Time to get over them perhaps?
