What do you do about the vacuum lines that go to the stock air filter housing? My CA77 has one line from each cylinder that I guess should be accomodated by drilling holes in the custom filter?

My problem too. I have no inlets in my filter housings for the tubes coming from the head. Not sure if the filter cages I have are the correct ones for a '65 CL. Did the Year of CL's make a difference in whether the inlets were there or not? Filter housings look to be original and they DO fit as original.

Anyone else faced with this problem?

Along came 1967 and HONDA dropped the intake guide vents and all RS filters made after that came without the tube. .????????????????????. ...................lm

So if I go with an aftermarket filter I guess modifying it to add the tubes is better than plugging the holes? They must do something.

So looping a tube between the two fittings is sufficient to serve the purpose they were meant for?

Not doubting you, just trying to understand their purpose.

No. But it will WORK as HONDA discontinued them with all the 1967 issue engines. ...............lm
