Ready to go carbs??

Post by ApriliaBill » Mon Jan 05, 2015 1:16 pm

New to the site and want to thank everyone in advance. From the looks of the site, there are a lot of smart people on here willing to share their knowledge.

Just bought a 63 Super Hawk and of course the carbs. are tired. I'm going to rebuild them but thought a set of bolt ons might help me sort other areas of the bike while the originals are apart. Anybody seen or worked with these? I hear the slide is superior to the original Amal's.

Not sure about those but Vince Lupo here has a set of Mk1 Concentric 626s on his Superhawk.

I saw the thread on the Concentric's, that's why when I saw these for the $ and supposedly a better slide finish..... Just wondering if anybody had experience with them. I might be try them just to see if I can get them to work...

Post by joea » Sun Jan 11, 2015 10:13 am

yes i have used and sold many of the irc (pwk keihin) carbs..
they were made(with rights) by bill at JRC who sells british bike parts out of ca. They come pre jetted for triumph,BSA and norton. i have used them on all plus ducati 250's and they work really well. joe@Vcycle

Bolt-on CA77 carbs??

Post by Dr. Frankenstein » Sat Feb 14, 2015 4:05 pm

So is this a direct bolt-on replacement carb for the CA77?
Are the measurements (throat, bolt width, etc) the same?
