some kind of screw ?

Post by gideon » Mon Jul 02, 2012 6:56 am

Hey thanks for that, but this isn't the idle adj screw- it's the other one. This is a single carb on a CA77. It's a adj. screw on the carb- not the big one that goes into the slot on the slide, and it's broke off flush ! Probably have to get another carb-$!

broken idle screw

Post by dlobby12 » Mon Jul 23, 2012 2:31 pm

Try a grab it, they sell them at pep boys. It's the best tool I've ever used for a broken screw head. Just make sure you don't damage the carb when you do it, but if your going to buy a new carb any how, what do you have to lose.
Good luck.

The grab it still might work, just use the smallest bit there are two, one to grab it and one to pull it out using a reverse drill. It might keep you from having to buy a knew carb.

Hello. Could I please have a copy of that carb adjustment file. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thankyou
