Dream Carbureator vs Hawk Carbs

Post by larrydreed » Sun Jun 12, 2005 6:29 pm

My 62 CA77 has "pw22" stamped on the engine connecting flange. The manuals indicate the single carb 305's have "26 mm" carb and the twin carb 305's have the "22mm". and the manuals indicate it should be a "26". Has my carb been switched or am I reading the manual wrong.

AS I know all the C/CA72/77 engines used the 22mm carb. The 250cc Hawk used the 22mm Power Jet carbs and the 305 carbs were 26mm without the Power Jet. ...........LM
