Gday Dianne

Excellent web page thing on that bike rebuild mate. Very cool and well done.

Only problem I could see is that it makes me feel slack for taking so long on my little Dream that I put it in storage.

Thanks for that. I was playing around with the bike and checking wiring to the coils and cleaning the points trying to find this miss fire. When the left set of points were open I put my thumb on the points shaft and pushed it "side to side" while I couldn't feel or see the shaft moving I could see ...

So far I have only been able to find 2 options. Classic Cycle Parts (Ebay) has after market coils for $100 for the 2 coils but with no HT leads. Charlies Place (web site) has Dyna coils for $282 for 2 coils and HT leads. I was thinking of still using my points set up for now. But if I decide to go f...

G'day Gordon
I bought them from Classic Honda Restoration. I rang them to have a quick chat to make sure I was ordering the right brake shoes. I also found a few other bits and pieces to fill the package and spread the cost of shipping over more parts than just brake shoes.

Fantastic. Thankyou I put a couple of O rings in temporarily just to test the bike in my local area, but I will chase up the correct parts with this info. I have no fuel leaks but one cylinder is dropping in and out so now I'm waiting on new spark plugs. Getting there though. Have a good one Scott

Thanks for responding. I had a look on ebay and the cheapest is about $34 and all I really need is the 2 parts. I was hoping to find a place that just sells O rings but looking at the photo on ebay the gasket between the petcock and the tank is not an O ring in cross section. I'll ring Col on Monday...
