I have about 1.5 oz. of gas leaking over a couple days from the carb overflow line after I run the bike. It really smells up the garage. I must have a leak in the float or somewhere. Would like to maybe upgrade if any other more modern carb would fit, thats why I was asking. It's not the petcock. I ...

Are there any other carbs that work on the 305? What about in the 60's, did anyone use another brand carb to improve performance ? What did they do back in the day to "hot rod" these bikes?
