Valve Adjustment Caps

Gents, Trying to check the valves on my 65 305 Dream. Seems the valve "caps" are all frozen in place. From the looks of things, the previous owner messed up at least one with a pair of vice grips and put a small dent in the front fender using some sort of tool. Any tips or advice on getting these of...

Good and the bad

One of those days... Made it home and decided to take the recently refreshed 1965 Dream out for a ride. Pleasent cruising around the area, gently coaxing the 26+ massive horsepower engine to life. Waving to a few folks along the way who were smiling at the aged black beauty rolling past with a 60's ...

Yes, understood. Swapped them around this morning and the problem still exists. Odd, I know. Had the timing light out yesterday and wasn't getting strobe on the left side. Swapped the plug wires and still wasn't getting strobe on the left side. Still getting fuel and white smoke from the drain hole ...

Will check and swap the plug wires.

Clutch slippage: Didn't hold too much weight with the argument that synthetic, etc. oil could cause slippage. Then, I put it in my 1984 Nighthawk and quickly noticed clutch slippage. Swapped out to "normal" 10w-40 and the problem went away.

Fuel from the left exhaust

Starting up a freshened 1965, CA77.

Noticed some fuel blow-by coming out of the left muffler's drain hole on startup. (Grey smoke as well.)

Bike ran, but with power issues. (Low power, weak ecceleration, etc.)

Any tips?

Pack it into a typical grease gun?
