Thanks for the tip. I've got it shifting pretty decent now. I guess it needed a good cleaning and fresh oil. I'll keep your tip handy, just in case.

Forgot to mention that it was shifting fine the last few times I rode it. I'll admit to fiddling with clutch adjustments. I've tried the LM method of clutch adjustment also.

I have been slowly stopping the drill during my tests. It will return to zero smoothly. Every once in a while I get a bounce while "accelerating" with the drill. I attributed it to unsteady hands. I'll follow the advice here and do a little more cleaning.
