Decided to replace the cracked crankcase. Photos to follow.

G-man. How could it be repaired? Take it to a welder? I've found entire cases for $70-$99. For $70 for a lower it just sounds easier. And yes, getting to keep my number 😁

Is this crack in the lower crankcase repairable? If yes, how so? Is the repair worth it or would it be better to buy an entire new case for under $100 shipped on ebay? 48lesco: Yes, definitely a satisfaction in complete disassembly! Through a preliminary search I couldn't find a side by side of the pistons to get a good comparison. Once everything is apart and I'm working on the pistons I'll be sure and dig into that as an issue. I appreciate the insight! LOUD MOU...
