The tank seems to be in good condition. The center strip is good but has a couple rust spots. The shock tops are plastic on the black bike and metal on the white one. By looking at your 62 It looks like the seat on yours has a "point" to the front. Mine is straight across front.

I do see that the side cover has the cut out for the early clutch cable , also I have the seat and tank on the ca72 but it still looks like the rear of the tank has too much cutout at the seat. Thanks for the reply. The CA 72 has a 305 engine on it . That was really confusing . The next thing is will the 250 tank and side covers work on the CA 78 ? The parts was why I bought the CA72.

I have a dream but are not sure of the year. The frame says ca-78. All of the posts I have read say things about ca-77. Any help will be appreciated. Also need a good tank and seat.
