He states running when parked. Engine kicks with good compression. Has title, good seat (doesn't matter. I am a corporate aircraft upholsterer) Bike is complete and rims look decent in pics.

Chance to buy a 65 CL77

There is a CL77 available near me for $1850. It needs paint and overall resto but everything is there and he has quite a few new parts. The complete exhaust is there also to the final tip. What is a deal for this? Thanks guys

Stator testing

My 1966 Superhawk is not charging, voltage drops with increasing RPM'S. The battery is good and fully charged. There is proper VAC between the three wires from the stator. The wires don't seem to ohm out right. My question is, if the stator output is at 40-50 vac at 4000 rpm do the ohm checks matter?

OK, maybe not out of the box ready. I went for a Danger ride and ended up going to 145 main jets and the clip at the bottom setting on the needles. Runs like never ever before.

No tuning necessary. Make sure that when you install these or the stock carbs to be sure and have the o rin...

Ok, I thought that the tag was a year off for some reason. I have a titled 66 and the tag is 1965, frame VIN 1016558. Maybe someone changed it over the years. That probably explains my early speedo with the later speedo drive. Would you all agree that the OP's bike is a 1966 or 1967? Just to get bac...

I would say this is a '66 or '67. The frame VIN'S for 65-67 are 1000001-1056432. There is a white tag on the wiring harness under the fuel tank that will have a four digit year stamped on it. The bike is typically a year younger what the tag indicates. You can source exhaust on fleabay, David Silver...
