ca77 exhaust

I put the exhaust pipes onto the Dream and I think there is a part missing. Is there a sleeve that fits around the end of the pipe for the finned collar bears on to hold the pipe in? The pipe fits into a deep hole and there is nothing to hold the pipe against the seat. Thanks for the help.

After a lot of carb cleaner and a lot of fiddling I got my Dream running tonight. I think the clutch is stuck but that sounds pretty common from reading on here. If the tires weren't flat I'd have tried to take it up the street. It's registered as a '61, can someone with the books tell me if its rig...
