ca77 ignition switch

Hello, I bought a ca77 last week, and as a lot of these old bikes, it needs a key switch. Has anyone experimented with a cb160 switch or any other Honda switch? Really don't want to spend 250 on an nos one for a 800.00 motorcycle. Thanks for any help! 305nutt

might look at all the wiring where it bends in or around the frame for raw spots where the wiring could have grounded out on the frame.
