hey, that's supurb. Now we need someone who is willing to do these for the guys. ;-) Wish I had a nice lathe. What would something like that be worth to perform for another restorer?

I don't have the shocks in front of me, but could it be possible to thread the top of the shock and put a cap there for them? Could even toss the old seal underneith the screw down cap. ??? Don't see any reason for that though. Nobody sells a replacemnt shock we could use or modify and use from an a...

Ja know what, I had a Kawi KL250 1981 four stroker. I rebuilt that and was told to buy new head bolts because they were made to strech. I did as advised and don't think I had a head leak. Well, Been trying them on a Honda Shadow VT500c 1984. There's a Baffle in the damned tank! I can't get the left side to lay in the tank properly. Plus getting past that baffle. GRRRR!!! Going to see if they work. I'll update later what the outcome was. Preliminary says they are going to work. Just need to see how well.
