If you paid 1750 for that bike you got a STEAL! I paid twice that for my unmolested Black 66 that needed nothing but some good elbow grease to clean up. No mechanical issues for me at all.

Can you see any date on the wiring harness under the seat? That will usually have a white tag on it that has a date on it that will tell you what year the harness was manafactured and gives you a real good idea of when the bike was made. Only in early following year models where they used left over ...

Im kooking for the original tread design or close to it for my 65 Hawk. My manual says 2.75 18 on the front and 3.00 18 on the rear. Just can't see too many on line. Any ideas of where to look?
